Please excuse the lack of spacing. I am under a big deadline and can't find the information on formatting.
I am having a very frustrating issue with extremely slow sample load times with my larger Kontakt libraries within VEPro. I realize this may be a Kontakt issue but this is a much more responsive forum so I thought I would post it here.
I am running OS X 10.6.7, Logic 9.1.4, VEPro 8008, and Kontakt 4.2.3.4914 on a 2008 2.8 ghz 8 core with 18 gb of RAM.
The load times seem particularly slow with LASS and Symphobia. They weren't as slow before I upgraded to Komplete. I have reinstalled Kontatk, got the LASS 1.5 upgrade for Kontakt 4.1 and resaved my Symphobia patches (as well as all the other libraries).
I am loading a large orchestral template, but it was MUCH faster getting the full version of Kontakt 4.
Any ideas?
