  • Movie Score Grand Prix

As an alternative to the real show today, here is my list of candidates who qualified for the finals.

First rule is, there are no rules. From full orchestral works, classical or dedicated compositions, single vocal tunes, designed specifically for the movie or or used " as is" - everything is allowed, as long as it works nicely with the movie and supports the photography or the story.

that the circle is closed [:D], fell free to add your own candidates.

Finally we wait for the results of the dutch jury, but remember, you can´t give any points to Brazil, because Brazil doesn´t belong to Europe [;)]

  •  Well, you can't argue that 2001 Space Odyssey is'nt impressive, but my top vote would go to Ennio Morricone's Once Upon a Time In the West, but not "the man with the harmonica", but the main theme:--

It takes a moment in what is a reasonably aggresive film, to pure tranquillity, so this one gets my top vote.

  • Unfortunately can´t watch it here, because of territory restrictions.......

I think you meant that one , isn´t it  ?

    course top notch as well.
