Just installed. I can only load VSL instruments. Why aren't the others showing up? Everything is up to date, 64-bit, and fully installed. Is there a way to force a scan?
Also I'm wondering why this isn't mentioned in the documentation at all. You'd think there would be a chapter on that. Why isn't there one?
Thanks.

Vienna Ensemble Cannot find Omnisphere, Kontakt 4, or Play on my Mac. Why?

Welcome,
That´s strange indeed. Plug-ins on OS X are always in a dedicated folder (Library => Audio => Plugins). You don´t need to assign anything.
Did you try with the 32bit version of VE PRO yet? Just as a comparison?
Best,
Paul

VE finds effects plugins but not instrument plugins. When I run 64 vs 32 bit versions, the 64 bit effects plugins show up with the 64 bit version, and the 32 bit effects plugins show up with the 32 bit version. Neither scenario finds my instrument plugins. They are located in (System drive) -> Library -> Audio -> Plug-ins -> Components

Also, where am I supposed to find these in VE? There are icons in the lower left for adding Vienna Instrument and Vinna Instrument Pro plugins. Are other icons supposed to appear down there? Is there anywhere you can tell VE where to look for plugins?
