I have w7 64 bit for my OS. PT9 as my DAW. I've heard both that you can and can not access all your memory with PT9 and VEP. Which is it? I have 24GB of memory. If I just run VEP as a plugin in protools I would think that it would not allow me to access more memory then the typical 4 GB with a 32bit program. Is there another way?

Using VEP with only 1 computer running PT9

Hello Steve,
VE PRO runs OUTSIDE of your sequencer, so if you want to use 64-bit plug-ins within a 64-bit VE PRO, you can access as much RAM as you have available.
PLUS you can run a 32-bit instance of VE PRO simultaneously!
Check out VE PRO with a free demo license, available here (click "try"). You will also need a ViennaKey to store your license on (or, if you have one, a Steinberg Key).
Best,
Paul
