Sibelius is sending unwanted pan messages to Logic channel strips over IAC bus

Every time I hit play in Sibelius, Sibelius immediately sends an unwanted MIDI message (it must be MIDI) to Logic, causing whichever channel is selected in Logic's mixer to change the pan to +31 and the fader to 0.0 dB, regardless of where it was at before. Very annoying!!! How do I stop this? Logic will not allow me to have NO channel selected in the mixer (there is always at least one selected). My setup: I am running Sibelius 5.4.0, using it to send MIDI messages over IAC to four instances of VE, and then routing that audio into Logic 8.

Simply put a transformer object that filter CC10 between the IAC buses (or all the midi inputs) and the sequence input. Are you familiar with the environement window? If not, I can make an exemple project and send it to you eventually.

I am vaguely acquainted with the environment window, but not very good with it. Looking at it right now, I just added a transformer in the "Click & Ports" view, and I put the transformer between the "Input View" and the final destination of "Sequencer Input." After double-clicking on the transformer, I am a little lost. I am assuming Mode should be set to "Filter matching events" but I don't understand how to set the Conditions below.

UPDATE: I have removed the pan issue (see following settings), but the fader still gets reset to 0.0 dB when I hit play. SETTINGS: In the transformer, I set Mode to "Filter matching events." Then I set Status to "=" and then to "Control", then I set Channel to "All", Data Byte 1 to "=" and then "10", and Data Byte 2 to "All".

UPDATE 2: Removed the volume problem as well. Used the same steps as above to create another transformer that filters out volume data on CC7 (Data Byte 1 on 7). Thanks so much for your help! Resolved!

Good!

Just be sure that you put the two transformer in chain and not in parallels cause you may have doubled notes.

The path should be : Input View / transformer 1 / tranformer 2 / Sequencer Input. 

Maybe you should include this in your template for futur projects to.

One last thing,

With this setup, you are filtering all midi drivers data including your physical midi controllers. If you need to send some volume change or pan data from a fader on your gear it will not work. In that case, instead of wirering the input view to the the transformers you should do it from the Physical Input IAC Buses at the left side of the click and ports window. If you have multiples IAC Bus, just duplicate the transformers.
