  • VSL Confusion

Hi everyone im new here at VSL and plan on buying either Vienna Instruments pro or VSL SE as my 1st purchase. but im not sure if VI pro comes with its own library and samples or is it only for separate libraries. VSL SE seems like the best bet, but just want to make sure im making the right investment. sorry for the noob questions ;)thanks..

    Welcome Raman,

The Special Edition isthe perfect product to start with, no doubt. And once you have taken the first steps with the original Vienna Instruments, it´s a good idea to get Vienna Instruments PRO, which is an advanced sample player that works with all VI Collections.
VI PRO has to be purchased separately, you can also order a free demo license to check it out (click "try"), once you have a VI Collection and a ViennaKey.

Check out the Video Tutorials for the original Vienna Instruments and Vienna Instruments PRO.

    Best,

    Paul

  • Hello Raman,

Yes, that´s all you need for a start [:)], everything else can be added anytime later on!

Dependent on the requested use you also might need a sequencer, not sure if you are aware of this.
