Download speeds...

Hi, I realise that this may be a fairly repetitive topic, but it has to be said...the download speeds are somewhat frustrating. I am currently running at 3.4kbps. I am on a 4Mbps DSL line, and other internet upload/download work fine when tested. Do you have any indication as to why this 450Mb package will take 25 hours to download, or is it simply because the capacity is full at the VSL end? Thanks in advance. J

I have purchased one download extended library (2gb) and I am also getting download speeds of only 3-4K/ps !! At this rate my computer is estimating it will take 9 days!! Surely this cannot be right..what is the situation please. Help!

On my side, after having purchased the extended Horn Ensemble library, downloaded the latest Vienna Download Manager (2.0.8011), nothing happens. 

Rate is 0.0kB/s, Servers: 4(0) or 0(0) (it can change when I quit the software and run it again), Status: downloading

I've let the program running for about 1/2 hour, and still nothing.

Are your servers down?

please contact us at with as much information as possible:

- OS version

- DL Manager version

- usual download speed

- internet provider

- your download location.

And please make sure that there are no severe firewall settings and anti-virus programs in the way.

We´ll do our best to find out quickly what´s going on. Our servers are doing just fine, this has to have other reasons.
