  • About Vienna Mir

OK. So i can use vienna instruments and other vst intruments in vienna mir, but can I use AUDIO files recorded from the microphone? For example Guitars or Basses or Drums etc... Can I use them in Vienna Mir like vst instruments?

  • Like mentioned in several other threads, the upcoming MIR Pro will be able to use conventional audio files as signal sources, too. Like in case of 3rd-party VSTi's only "General Purpose Instrument Profiles" will be available for defining their characteristics, not the detailed profiles we are able to provide for Vienna Instruments.

    Kind regards,

  • Hello tony95

    The solution to day is:

Insert a Sample Player into MIR (such as HAlion 3.5 for example). Then you are able to play Audio files with it.

    BTW

"I've played" my voice this way in the Konzerthaus... Together with a String Orchestra... funny result...

No. "Natural Volume" is meant to be used as starting point. A final mix will always need fine adjustments, and the "Previews" are some kind of final mixes (... small one, admittedly 😉 ...).

    Kind regards
