  • Dietz, will this be possible in MIR pro?

    In a reply to another user you hinted that MIR Pro would be able to divide instruments into stems (if I read it correctly):

    @Another User said:

    The acoustic interaction happens between the signals themselves, so there's nothing wrong (technically) with mixing MIR-outputs in stems. As a matter of fact, MIR Pro will make this possible all by itself.

    My question is this: I have a 32 channel hardware output setup using Protools as a frontend, with the outputs feeding into a summing amplifier and the amp sending back a stereo feed into Protools (master sum). Will it be possible to route each instrument to a hardware output and sum the entire MIR feed in the summing amp (this could be a console as well), thus enjoying the benefits of hardware summing setup?

    Thanks in advance!

  • In principle this should work without any restriction. :-)

    Best,
