    Very disappointing. I had to wait until Friday night to recieve my solo strings library via ups, and tried to start the installation process, but hit a snag right away. I have the eLicenser Control Center Installed, so I registered the library online at VSL and expected to receiv an activation code via email to obtain the licenses and start the install (it won't allow me to even copy the libraries to disk without the licenses installed). I received the following email: You have successfully registered: Solo Strings I Standard Library ( I deleted my serial number for the post) Activation code: Activation code missing! Please make sure that you have the latest eLicenser License Control Center installed http://www.elicenser.net/en/latest_downloads.html Launch the eLicenser Control Center, click on the button "Enter Activation Code" and paste your Activation Code into the dialog. Please download the latest VIENNA SOFTWARE and MANUALS here: http://www.vsl.co.at/en/68/428/1093.vsl and find VIDEO TUTORIALS available here: http://www.vsl.co.at/en/68/141/1524/162/1244.vsl your VIENNA SYMPHONIC LIBRARY team Please send me my activation code ASAP!!!! mark

     You should be able to install the library before you install the license, I always install the library first and then update the license in the eLicenser afterwards. Though a missing code is something you'll need to contact VSL on support, I am sure they will email you your missing code.

    Hi mkiz,

    sorry about the hassles. Just checked our code database and it looks like we've run out of codes for the solo strings standard libraries.

    I've advised our support team that they should support you with a temporary license code and we will send you next week the regular code.

    Herb, Thanks for the explanation. I will look forward to getting the temporary code as soon as possible. I have a project that I am hoping to use the library for, and am anxious to start learning how to work with the library. As far as the previous poster's reply about installing the library in a trial mode without the license, this does not seem to be possible. The installation halts at the first step (installing package.nfo) and indicates that four licenses are required (one for each string instrument type). Since I haven't heard from the tech support team yet, I can only assume that they don't work on Saturdays. If there is a way to get started without delay, that would be great.     Herb, Many thanks!!! I must received the code from tech support. My first impression is that all the positive comments I have read about Vienna support are well deserved! No operation is perfect,and how glitches a handled is the important thing. I am impressed with your responsiveness---exceeded my expectations! Thanks! Mark

    Hi ,

    I've just purchased the Download for Special Edition String extended library from www.ilio.com and unfortunately I can't get the activation code; I intended to buy the extended plus but what is happening with the codes activations ; all i get from the user area Vienna instruments  product registration is this : The corresponding Standard Library has not been registered yet. 

    maybe i did something wrong , so i need some help here

    Hello Bogdan,

    Unfortunately you cannot mix Download Instrumenst and DVD Collections. And you cannot register an Extended Library without the corresponding Standard Library (actually even purchasing the Extended Library alone is only possible with a trick in your basket).

    Hi everybody, happy to be in the community i have the same problem, i have just buy vienna instrument pro 2, and other library (MIR, Dimension string) but I have not the code activation for VIP 2 ... it's writte missing Have you an idea ? thanks
