    Hi there,

    can anyone advise whether the latest vsl libraries are available for my G5 quad (pre intel) which uses the exs system?

    thanks Mike...assuming you use the latest samples and that you used to use exs?? how much improved do you find them?

    I have to decide whether it is worth upgrading my Mac O/S or not!

    Someone pointed that out already in the other thread: the Versions for EXS are obsolete long since. When you buy a library you get the Vienna Instrument Player which was originally built for PPC. The newest VI Versions (and the VI PRO)  only work on Intel machines, but most of the libraries still will work on PPC. So there’s no need to upgrade your machine just for getting VSL Products NOW, you can for ex. buy the special edition, run it on your PPC (as a VI, not within the EXS) and upgrade (for free) to the intel version whenever you buy a new computer.
