  • I've installed Maschine, and there's one thing that's driving me nuts. I can start the sequencer, but I can't stop it again. It just keeps on running until I quit VEP. Anyone else?

  • Is this in the VE Pro Server or in the standalone application?

  • It's the standalone version (4.1.7846), both 32 and 64 bit.

  • In the standalone the transport is indeed infinitely running, which may affect the sequencer in NI Machine. It's noted down as a possible future improvement. Thanks for reporting.

  • I see. Thanks.

  • doesn't work well here , phasing / flanging sound when played back , safer to place in PT 10 HD Matt

Yes, I get that too in VEP 5, but it didn't happen in VEP 4. I work with Maschine standalone at the moment.

  •  Does anyone use Maschine 1.7.2 in VE Pro 5? I get phase cancellation issues, and it's driving me nuts. I never experienced this with VE Pro 4. And standalone mode doesn't really work well in regards to sync between two rigs.

    Thanks.

  •  VSL confirmed the issue, and are working with NI to solve it. It's driving me nuts, so... fingers firmly crossed. [:)]

  •  VSL, any news on this? It's a pretty big deal to me, as I use Maschine a lot on this project. I'll add that it doesn't happen during recording, only during playback.

    Thank you!

  •  Yes, yes, yes!!! The latest update fixed this bug. A very big deal to me, so a huge thanks to the guys at VSL for working on this!

  • All in a day's work. It was actually a Pro Tools bug I had to explicitly work around.

Really? A Pro Tools bug, huh? Well, I know nothing about programming and coding, but I'm very pleased that you were able to fix it. VE Pro has saved my bacon, allowing me to continue using my PT DSP cards in the PPC, and buy a slave for my VI's. The power of a 6-core Westmere and VE Pro just continues to amaze me. Thanks again!
