  • Downloading one bin file

It took me about 13 hours to download the 4 gigabytes of bin files for the Konzert House and one of the bin files is corrputed. How do I download the one I need? I think it is the first bin.

Downloading the entire item is terribly slow and ties up the computer here.

    Any suggestions?

    Marko

  • marko, the roompack is rather huge ... 13 hours for 4 GB is about 90 KByte/sec which indicates a DSL line of 768 kbit ... you can limit the download bandwidth in the bottom right corner of the downloadmanager though to keep some bandwidth free for other tasks.

regarding the possibly corrupted bin-file i asked you:

the 1.bin file is indeed a bit smaller, exactly: 536,509,440 byte
    and it's MD5 checksum is: ff71589c4ac2ab8bf619713118615221

i have uploaded a little MD5 calculation tool into your personal files
    http://www.vsl.co.at/en/68/141/384/273.htm
MD5Finger.exe can be run displayed in german and english

please let me know if the file-size in byte and the calculated MD5 checksum is the same as the checksum above to get an idea what could be wrong

but unfortunately you replied with the size in KB and no checksum ... please let us know ... a test-download and install went through here without issues but i'm sure we can work that out.

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
