VSL SE using imac with Finale 2011

Hi, I am brand new to VSL SE, I was able to install everything and downloaded the HPP file and imported it into HPP in Finale 2011. I do not get VSL as a choice when I create a new file with the wizard. I don't see how to assign the right sound to each staff (which maybe part of the new file wizard) and the articulations don't seem right. I am entering data into Finale with the computer keyboard. Hello Cello Beagle!

Please add Vienna Ensemble in the MIDI/Audio/Instrument Setup/VST Instruments (or AU Instruments) menu to your arrangement. You might have to activate Vienna Ensemble in the Manage VST Instruments menu first.
More details can be found in the readme file, that came with the HPP file.

Hi, The read me file is not up to date for Macs. I think I got all of the stuff done it is asking for except there is no "play Finale through VST" (#2 in readme)Also I don't see how to see and set the channel settings in Vienna Ensemble. I thought this was all automatic for 2011?

You are right. On Mac you have to choose "Play Finale through Audio Units". Thanks for bringing that up.

Channels in Vienna Ensemble can be set in the upper part of the window of every instrument.
