Vienna multi timbral

Yes VSL does support multi-timbral in Logic. Your options are the free Vienna Ensemble Player (free to any VSL instrument package owner) or the upgraded VE Pro (for a small fee). For single instances your options are the free Vienna Player or the upgraded fee based VI Pro (this one will change your world, and once purchased can be inserted into the free VE or upgraded VE Pro).

I'm a little confused, I was told that with the base player it is already 64x and multi timbral, but in logic there are no outputs or midi channels found, and I have to use it via the 32x bridge. Basically my question is, If I upgrade to the PRO player, will I be able to load it as TRUE 64x in logic, running at least 16 multi channel outputs out of it, like any other software instance such as Kontakt or East West. When I add an I/O it should say "Multi Channel" Also how much is the upgrade for solely the player and not the instruments? Thanks!

Hello casalena,
Please check out our free "Vienna Ensemble", our multi-timbral 64-bit host.
Vienna Ensemble PRO offers more features (like LAN connectivity and 3rd party hosting, PLUS the very cool "Preserve" feature), you can also try that with a free demo license (click "try").
Best,
Paul
