    Hi Bogdan,

I work (from an amateur perspective) exclusively with Sibelius and Mir. My website has a number of MP3s with this combination. Recently I have been working on a huge orchestral score and you can hear and read about it here.

Sibelius and MIR work very well together although as VSL is primarily geared towards midi keyboards providing the data some things are a bit cumbersome to do in Sibelius although I am not aware of any function of MIR that you can't control via Sibelius.

  • Thank you very much DaveTubaKing,

I really appreciate your input and of course i'm gonna listen your samples

    Thanks everybody for responses,

    Best

Clearly bogdan has been rendered speechless by the quality of the demos on my website[H]

  • Hi Dietz,

I don't know for some reasons, probably I did something wrong, my previous post was just blank.Weird, since I wrote more than 3 or 4 lines.

I was congratulating Davetubaking for his results regarding the combination between Sibelius and MIR. Really impressive indeed. I downloaded the MIR SE trial version, and try to figure out if my win machine can make it for small projects.Anyway, I'm trying also to use Sibelius on my Mac and MIR on the second machine (win one). Kind of a ....since i'm not a tech guy , but hopefully I'm going to make it.

BTW; if i decide to buy the MIR SE, there will be in the future an upgrade path for MAC---

    ALL the best

  • What are the specs on your windows machine?

Yes, there will be upgrade paths from MIR and MIR SE to MIR Pro, which will introduce OSX-compatibility.

    Kind regards,

  • Hi DaveTubaKing

My specs for both computers are: Mac Book Pro I5 /8 Gg + a win machine quad core 3.2 /12 Gg as slave

Anyway by the time I'm writing this I'm more and more amazed about the quality of MIR, it is indeed a special tool !!

Anyway, once again nice music and arrangements on your website,

    I really enjoyed your compositions
