  • VE Pro Random Loud Noise

When using VE Pro I will randomly get an extremely 3 second loud noise that resembles the sound of someone dragging the needle of a turntable across a vinyl record that comes out of only one of my speakers (not consistent as to which one). Any thoughts as to why this might be happening? I am currently using v 4.0 build 5436, and am loading only EWQLSO Platinum Plus Symphonic Orchestra sounds.

  • Did you try with the latest version of VE Pro? 4.0.5436 is quite old and several things have been fixed and improved in the meantime.

  •  Ahh,  the blast of noise from hell, yes I have encountered that - it is the EW Play engine doing that, many have reported it happening, I reckon it's a memory issue within Play, so I would be 99.9% sure this is a EW Play issue and not VE Pro. (when I had this problem I wasn't using VE pro then). Although I haven't had Play do it for sometime, so make sure your version of Play is up to date.

  • Its an EW problem, and a VEP specific one at that. Thats why they have claimed that its fixed several times now, but still the problem remains.

  •  It looks like EW Play V2.1.2 is out, and it claims to have sorted the "potential noise burst" (again). Worth a try....
