    Hello there I have purchased and licensed vienna SE (with elicenser ilok) and now I want to reboot my computer because it has been hacked and midi doesnt work anymore. So i'll have to reinstall it again. Will there be licensing problems or will my computer recognize it has already been licensed?

    Your licence is on the eLicenser (which is not the same thing as an iLok) so as long as you install the latest software for both the eLicenser and VSL there should be no problem.

    I suppose we don't need to reinstall the library but only the elicenser software right?

    Well, Im gonna do a clean install of windows 7. So all data and program installs will be gone. So, not only the elicenser software but the library and the vsti as well. Cheers

     Do you think the samples have been corrupted? If not, you could copy them to a spare drive and then just copy them back when you have reinstalled Windows.

    FWIW I not only have clones of my boot drive, but also copies of the sample drives, because it is much quicker to copy all those GB data to a new drive than to install from the DVDs. Maybe something to consider when your PC is up and running again.
