  • C~ is no longer a keyswitch option in VI Pro?

If I open any of my old templates, presets, matrices etc I have all of my matrice key switches starting on C~.  However, now in VI Pro, if i create a new one it stops me at C#~ and remains "blank" if I try to pick C~.  Even in one of my previous matrices if I move the C~ keyswitch, it won't let me select it again.

Anyone confirm and help me with this?  I use the exact switches for every Vienna Instrument I own, that way I can drop the same keyswitch for matrice and patch and get many instruments at once to play the same dynamic sample with a simple copy and paste.

    Thanks!

  •  Yes, it appears as though VI Pro uses the lowest setting (what would have been C~) as the OFF setting when adjusting by mouse on screen. However, you can still set it to C~ by right clicking the box (blue box flashes) and then playing the MIDI note in, it does then go to C~, maybe this is a bug, although I must say, I have never used keyswitches this low, as I need to get my 88 note controller 2 octaves down to get that far - but VI does get to C~, but doesn't have the OFF position.   [8-)]

  • Thanks for confirming this.  Indeed playing it on the keyboard does work at setting it back to C~.  Thanks for the work around.
