    Dear Vienna users,

I have a new problem and it is impossible for me to solve it on my own...

For p, f, crec, and all other dynamics i use the signs in the sibelius score (and not the velocity x Fade mode of VI) I was happy with that so far. But now the appassionata strings sound only forte there is no piano, no crescendo, no decrescendo. (This problem does not appear in the woodwind or brass section). I remarked that the EXP switcher (PERFORM CONTROL page) does not move anymore. MAP CONTROL shows Expression CC11, VOLUME CC7 and velocity cross fader off.

I even tried to reinstall my programms and to creat a new Sibelius score and a new MIR Room but nothing changed.

Maybe there is help somewhere in the community?

Thank you very much and best regards

    Timo

  • Hello Timo!

That's odd! Please make sure that you use the Appassionata Strings sound set and the VI presets, that came with that sound set.
Maybe you mixed up the Velocity crossfader on the Map Control page with the Velocity X-Fade button on the Perform Control page. If you don't want to use Velocity X-Fade, make sure that the corresponding button on the Perform Control page is turned off.

    Best regards,
    Andi
