  • uninstal vienna instruments? how?

I acsidently instaled a to high version of the vienna instruments library so now I do not see the instruments anymore in logic, how do I uninstal this to reinstall older software....[:(]

  • Hello Walter,

ThereĀ“s an Uninstaller included. But there must be something else going on if you donĀ“t see Vienna Instruments in Logic... What happened, exactly, with which versions?

  • I run Osx 10.6.5 on imac with logic pro 9.03 when one of my kids damaged my special edition dvd's I put all vsl files in my basket to reinstale them, but he does not read disc 4 anymore so I think I also put the uninstaler to the basket, finaly I reinstalled yhe sp on an external hd, without the disk 4,I force quit the instaler when he gave the error that he could not read the disc 4 to keep the already instaled dat files, run the directory manager to poit him to the folder I installed them to but still, in logic, I do not see them, also in the stand alone version, no patshes....

  • Hello Walter,

did you run the Directory Manager? Please try the following: Remove all folders, then assign all your sample content again by drag and drop from your Finder.

    That should do the trick.

  • I did that, still the same.....

  • Hi Walter,

ThatĀ“s strange. Maybe your harddrive is corrupted....

You can try to repair permissions on your system drive first (with "DiskUtility" or "Festplattendienstprogramm", in german).

If that doesnĀ“t help, IĀ“d just install your VI Collections again, on a different harddrive.
