Sibelius and VSL in GIG format
-
Hello, thanks for the reply. So it is possible to send keyswitch messages from sibelius to g-player? Meaning, can i load different patches in g-player,(basic set, tremolos set, pizz set...)and change between these sets with a midi keyswitch command? I´ve been checking the ref manual but can´t find the syntax for keyswitch messages. Any example on this? Thanks a lot.

So i also have to put a note off command after the note on? Strangely some text i write in sibelius can translate to a keyswitch command, like, if i write sfz(sforzando) it changes the patch, but if i write ,for ex, pizz it doesn´t. Maybe i have to do a basic sound set for my composition, i guess... thks

Hi Olecas!
It's not necessary to write the note off command, but it's "cleaner". The syntax for the note off looks like this:
~Oxx,10Whether commands like sfz or pizz will generate keyswitches or not, depends on the sound set you have loaded. As written before, there is no sound set for the Pro Edition. Sibelius offer a free sound set editor on their web page. You could generate one yourself.
Best regards,
Andi
