  • Epic Horns EQ (SvK?)

    Hey guys,

OK - this is something thats been bothering me for ages. I love the Epic Horns - I really do. The problem is those tip top frequency's that almost sounds like the horn players are doing a 'shake'. The crazy rattling that doesn't sound so far away and epic. Just very resonant and toppy.

SvK provided very nice advice way back on getting the strings to be smoother and that's why I mention him in the topic. Has anyone managed to squeeze out a more believable 'in the hall' sound from the Epic Horns by taming that shrill top end? Care to share?

The library is gorgeous and this is surely user error but I just could use help getting them to sound 'right'.

    Thanks in advance guys!

    J

  • Hey Paul,

Thanks for your reply. As much as I'd like to buy another product from you guys - most of my funds for library based stuff are going to the extended edition of Appass this holiday season. :)

I have had much success processing most of the instruments to my liking but was curious how others had the Epic Horns sounding. Not sure this one question would merit a plugin suite when I already have far too many plugins as it is :)

    Thanks again!

  • Hi,

you could simply check out the plug-ins and get inspired by the presets..... You´ll love the sound!

    Best,
