    Hi I have some old projects in Cubase that were using VE 3. I now use VE pro.  When I load them up, is there anyway to get VE pro to take them over?

    Cubase is obviously looking for the old VE3 plugin. I can go back onto my old xp partition, load the songs up on VE3, save the meta frame and then open it up in PRO and reconnect it.  However, that does seem a long way round and also means I lose all my output configurations / fx etc.

    Or I could run VE3 on my win 7 machine for situations like this I suppose....

    Any easier solution?

    Hello Matthew,

    Unfortunately there is no better way to do this. VE PRO will open VE 3 *.viframes, but no master host projects.

    Sorry to have no better news there....
