Was wondering if anything had any layering techniques to really bring out that distortion created by the bow really rubbing the strings. I've been thinking about finding some sort of saturator on a solo string while doubling that with the section. Nothing to great yet.
Looking for that oldschool Heifetz sound that was a bit nasal with lots of transients with the bow just to give the strings a little more definition. Any ideas for overdrive units or distortion units that might work .
