    Hello, I am using Pro Tools 8 on an iMac 10.5.x. In my first attempts to record VSL instruments (using VE as a plug-in) in Pro Tools, I am finding that the proper articulations are sounding as I record the track. But upon playback, all notes are articulated as staccato. Sustained notes are not sustaining....even though the midi data on the track shows that the note should be sustaining. I've looped the playback of the track while observing that VE is in fact indicating that the proper articulations have been chosen (sustained notes, for example), but still I only hear a staccato playback. Can someone tell me why I am only hearing the staccato even though VE is indicating I should hear other articulations? Thank You, Jerome

    After many hours of trying to figure out this problem, I came to find that it wasn't a software issue at all...as I originally thought. The problem was my Axiom 61 keyboard. I originally had 4 midi "zones" active on the keyboard. I set the keyboard Zone/Group setting to "Zone 1 and Group A" ONLY, and everything seems to work fine now.
