    Hi folks, - In Vienna Instruments Control Edit -> V-Span I applied the keys c2, c#2 and d2 for different articulations - When opening in key-editor it shows me the key switch MIDI events all one octave lower. Counterproof: entering MIDI events in keyeditor VI does not respond, transposing it one octave lower it works? Is this because f.ex. the double bases sound one octave lower or what?     C4 is Middle C in VSL products

    C3 is Middle C in Steinberg products

    Thanks for the quick answer. Do you know a workaround? It's because it took me a while to find out and it's so much more interesting to work on your own work than to work on the others (bad) work.

    There is no established standard in terms of whether middle C is C3 or C4, so you will always find these differences between hosts and plugins. It's nothing more than a visual difference, internally it's all the same note pitch.
