  • It´s possible doing that on VEP??

Hi, i tried everything and nothing. I wanna use the kontakt 64 midi channels. On Stand alone i have to use Virtual midi cable and virtual audio cable, this is no problem for VEP, i read the manual, but my question is: Since VEP offers 32 midi channels, on my sequencer (cubase) will use this 64 midi channels that kontakt offers?? I wanna make some large Templates as well. So 2 kontakt´s are good for me, i mean 128 instruments Is this possible on VEP??? Other thing, the manual says "You can also select external MIDI Inputs when using Vienna Ensemble PRO as a plug-in." For this kind of thing that i want to do, is possible doing on VEP stand-alone or as a vst only???

    1. In order to use more than one MIDI port per plugin instance you have to use a VST3 version of Kontakt, and I don't think there is one.
    2. I wouldn't recommend using the external MIDI inputs for the plugin if tight timing is important to you.

  • Thanks for reply DG So, VEP don´t do what i want, is that what you´re saying?

  • I'm saying that you can't do what you want with one instance of VEP. However, there's nothing to stop you using multiple plugin instances instead. I would suggest that you test out the demo and then you will be able to try all of this for yourself.

  • Thanks reply again DG For me to purchase it´s realy expensive (live in Brasil, too much taxes), even the demo of VEP. That´s why i wanna know that!! But thanks!! I´ll think about it!!
