    Hello haydnwalker,

    of course every instance of VE PRO adds a little bit of workload for the CPU. We´re doing our best to keep it at a minimum level.

    Hi, to elaborate your answer, is it right to say that it is preferable (CPU wise) to have just one instance with (let's say) Kontakt and all the four parts of it (64 midi channel) rather than 4 instances as the AU specs force us to have? In other words, are we (Digital Performer/MAS users) expecting a significant reduction of workload when the MAS VE PRO will be released and the same project will be narrowed from 8 instances for 8 separate Kontakt plugs (8x16=128 midi channels) to a single instance that will contain 4 Kontakt plugs and will be able to receive 128 midi channels?     There should be a reduction in that case, but it will probably not be as significant as you hope it to be.
