    I'm looking for some advice. I currently run Logic pro on a mac pro 2 x 2.8 GHz quad core, 14 GB RAM. I have a reasonable VSL library of full appasionata, full solo strings, SE plus and a few other VSL's running on VE Pro. I also run Kontakt and Eastwest Play instruments.I compose almost entirely with software instruments.

     If I were to run a slave computer, would I be better off buying a windows PC to use as a slave or maybe buy an i7 iMac to run as a master and make my current mac pro the slave.
