• RoomPack download error [SOLVED]

Vienna MIR RoomPack 1.0.161 (Part 2 of 9)

For the life of me, I cannot get this file to download. It will say download complete, witha zero kb file. This also happens in firefox, explorer, and on multiple comps. Is there a solution?

  • Welcome Soundboyz,

for testing purposes I'm downloading right now, and it seems to work flawlessly. There _is_ an error on the download page, though, but it's just wrong labeling (parts 2 to 9 are labeled 1.0.161, while they are pointing to the newest version 1.0.184, which is also reflected by the installer). We will fix that ASAP, of course.

Please empty the cache of your browser and give it another try: -> http://vsl.co.at/en/68/428/709/950/582.htm

    Thanks for your patience,

  • Update: Assuming that you're downloading from our US-server, there seems to be indeed a problem that leads to file-sizes of 0 kB. Our IT-guys are already looking into it.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Quick workaround: Please change your location in the Region Selector -> http://vsl.co.at/en/211/218/539/185.htm to "Europe" before downloading, this should do the trick for now.

Please don't forget to reset your location after downloading, to avoid any confusion in the future. :-)

    Kind regards,

  • they are very quick indeed...already fixed, with no workaround required. thanks you all so very much. The MIR is a must have for any cube owner. One question tho, any plans to add sound file support for MIR? tracks?

  • Phew! Good to hear it's working again.

Re: Audio and MIR - yes, we are working feverishly on a next-generation MIR engine, called MIR Pro. Amongst a bunch of other new features and enhancements it will introduce direct DAW-integration (and thus full latency compensation), OS-X compatibility, and - of course - support for audio inputs. Stay tuned! :-)

    Kind regards,

  • Just for the sake of completeness: All the wrong labels are corrected by now, too.
