  • Question Regarding the Vienna Lottery (Free Download Instrument)

I just noticed the "lottery" offer on VSL's home page.  I have two questions:

    1.  Will my chances of winning increase if I purchase an extended library or two extended libraries as opposed to standard libraries only?[;)]

    2.  If I win by purchasing say, two standard libraries, could I upgrade one, or both, of those libraries to their respective extended version(s) in lieu of winning a free new library?[:)]

    Thanks

    Hi Jasen,

Thanks for your interest in our lottery! 😊

I'll go straight to your questions:

    1) No. Please keep in mind that only purchases of Single Instrument Downloads count towards the lottery, as described here.

    2) In the scenario you described you could then upgrade one Single Instrument Download to the respective Extended Library. Note that only two Single Instrument Downloads do have an Extended Library part: Our Concert Guitar and Overdrive.

    Hope that helps!

    Best,

    Stefan

  • Hello Stefan and thank you for replying.

Actually, I was refering to the Concert Guitar and the Overdrive.  So, if I understand you correctly, I could buy the Overdrive standard and extended then buy the Concert Guitar standard then I could get the Concert Guitar extended for free?

    Thanks Stefan

  • Hi Jason,

That's correct! But please note that you have to order three products with one (!) order to get the free fourth Single Instrument for free. So in your case you'd have to order Overdrive Full Library (=Standard and Extended Library) and Concert Guitar Standard Library in one go, and then you'd get Concert Guitar Extended Library for free. :-)

    Hope that clarifies your question.

    Best wishes,

    Stefan
