    The latest version of Vienna Ensemble crashes when used as a plugin in Logic 9.1 or Live 6. I don't know what is happening in Live, but I get the following message from the Audio Unit Manager in Logic:

    I find the 64-bit reference in the last line strange, because I'm running Logic on a 32-bit (CoreDuo) MacBook Pro.

    Can anyone suggest a solution?

    Solved by removing the 64-bit versions of the Vienna Ensemble Services apps.

    This has been fixed for the next update. Seems like the 64bit applications got installed even if the CPU isn't 64bit capable. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    I just upgraded my system to Lion (10.7.3) and I get 2 errors in Logic's AU Validation:

    Vienna Ensemble Pro - failed validation

    Vienna Ensemble Pro Surround - couldn't be opened

    I'm using Logic 9.1.7 in 32-bit mode and everything was fine like that in OS 10.6.8

    VE Pro Server 64-bit does open. The plugin obviously won't open in Logic right now.

    I also just tried opening Logic in 64-bit mode.

    Both plugins still don't work....
