Finale 2011 Playback Settings

Hey there, I'm Jonathan and I just purchased a new iMac along with the Vienna Special edition (full library). I am currently using Finale 2011 and am having a very difficult time using HPP in conjunction with VSL. I noticed that there are HPP Preferences for Finale 2009 and 2010 and I wondered if there were any coming out for 2011? I know it's not the best setup but I am only using Finale 2011 and VSL. I don't have cue base or logic so I'm assuming that by purchasing one of these programs I would be better off. Thanks Jonathan

Hello Jonathan!

The HPP preferences for Finale 2009 and 2010 also work for Finale 2011. Please take a look at the readme file, that comes with the HPP. It's explained there how to use it. If you have any further problems, please describe in detail what happens.

Hi Bill!

There is still a bug in the Human Playback Preferences system, that prevents us from creating HPP for more of our collections. If we would do it now, we would have to exclude lots of articulations from these settings, because the "Custom text" command still doesn't behave as it should. I have already reported that to MakeMusic. So this is out of our hands now.
