MIR RoomPack Audio Previews Available Online!

Dear Forum Members,

due to repeated requests we have put online all the pre-rendered audio previews of each and every MIR Venue available.

Every Preview is just a series of little three-note melodies, played by four to five different instruments of an instrument family (brass, woodwinds, strings, percussion) on different positions of a stage. Individual Previews are available for each microphone position in a hall. These audio streams are included in a MIR RoomPack and can be used during the Venue Selection to get a quick idea of the room's acoustic properties.

... this might not be the most multifaceted bunch of demos you will find on the VSL page 8-) , but it's the most comprehensive way to get an impression of a RoomPack before buying.

Very seasonable offer, thanks! Maybe not multifaced but convincing enough and in this case much more better than some very good musical demos like the "in a sentimental mood" demo - it's very good, but the sound is too much depends by the skills of the musician/programmer and soundengineer to access how the venue sound in default. So I couldn't not really decide myself for the room pack two - until now.

The room pack 2 would be a no brainer question for me, but how much is it for shure, that the room packs for MIR can be used in the future - means MIR PRO?

Maybe a stupid question, but the going round rumours are to promise a lot of changes...

So, a clear answer in this case would be much appreciated. Thanks! Frank

Existing RoomPack licenses will be valid for MIR Pro, too.

 Good news - thanks! Btw, Dietz, I noticed (in the other thread) you are very watchful regarding the "NI Kontakt" - issue. Thanks for that too. It still happens, but meanwhile I have my work arounds, so I will pick up room pack 2 now.

 To say some gratifyingly too, the roompack 2 is increadible!  I use it sometimes for ER only (studio 2) and it sounds so real in a kind of spooky...it drives me crazy. So thanks again for putting online the audio previews and for the clarified answer regarding MIR pro.
