    Hi

    If I set my buffer settings in VSL Pro to say 256 or 128, is that instead of or as well as the buffer settings in my RME 9652 sound card? In other words are those buffer settings cumulative so that 128+128 = 256? Is it better to set the buffer in the sound card or in VSL Pro?

    I can't find anything on this and I have a feeling it is pretty crucial to getting best performance.

    They are the same. No additional latency is being added in VE Pro standalone. What you see in the preferences is your audio interface buffer size.
