    The new VE will not load as a vst in Sonar 8.5.  It just hangs on the 'scanning licences' screen and only a reboot will clear it.  This is all a bit odd, as the old VE worked, and it works fine as a standalone player......

    Hi Basso,

    That´s odd indeed. Did you update ALL VSL Software yet? It could be that the old "vsldaemon", which was used with previous software, is in the way when you´re loading multple sample players.

    Thanks for the quick reply.  I have upgraded the VE and have also removed the .dll for the old VE software from the VST folder that Sonar Scans.  This has solved the hanging scan of licences problem and sonar is now finding the correct software.  

    I would have uninstalled the old version of VE but it doesn't seem to show up in my add/remove list...
