  • VAT

There seems to be nowhere to enter my VAT number when trying to buy software on the VSL website. Have I missed something?

    DG

  •  Hi DG,

you can add your VAT number in your profile here ("Adress" tab):

    http://vsl.co.at/en/Profile.vsl?ReturnUrl=http://community.vsl.co.at/forums

Also typing in the VAT number in the comment field of your current order works.

  • Thanks, I'll do that when I'm in the studio tomorrow. Looks like my Credit Card will be getting a thrashing. [8-|]

  • Transaction failed, possibly due to the pop-up being in German........! Email sent to sales.

    DG

  •  Maybe in this case it's a well known problem with British banks, which do not allow foreign credit card transactions with higher amounts of money for security reasons.

In this case you have to authorise your bank for this certain transaction.

  • As the pop-up was in German I can't say whether or not this was the case. However, if it was coming from a British bank, one would have thought that the message would have been in English.....!

Should I try again, but use PayPal this time?

    DG

  • I guess the message is from our Austrian/German payment provider which are unfortunately in german by default.

Paypal is a good option because no banks are involved ;-)

  •  OK, PayPal is no good either, as I don't seem to be able to put my country in as either England or UK. So yet again, no sale. [:(]

I just replied to your email, with several options on how to proceed with your order, so please check your inbox. [:)]

    Best wishes,

    Stefan

  • wondering now where on the PayPal page one had to select a country, are PayPal pages different for certain origins?... just wrote you an email from support to get this fixed ...

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
  • I'm in the process of sorting this out now, so stay tuned...!
