  • [SOLVED] Problems on WIndows 7 64bit machine..

    I've got a 2-laptop setting which is connected via VE Pro. A Windows XP 32bit laptop (Master, Sibelius) and  a Windows 7 64bit Ultimit laptop (Slave, VSL VI Pro, other VSTis).

    Whenever I try to open a VE Pro Server 64bit on W7 laptop, it just not works. Sometimes I'm getting various error messages regarding eLicenser. Sometimes just after showing 'scanning licenses', it crashes. When these things happen, my eLiceser UBS key is just disappering from the eLCC. I updated all the softwares but the result has been the same.

    Because of this, I have been using 32bit VE Pro Server on the 64bit laptop. Before the VI pro was integrated into the VE pro, I could use 64bit one without any problem. Is there any report on this matter?

    Hello Leal,

    No reports about similar troubles so far....

    I wonder if that could have something to do with firewalls or anti-virus programs on your W7 computer? I´d turn everything off, just to test.

    And as we have just updated VE PRO on saturday (again), I´d doublecheck if build 7043 is installed on ALL computers, along with the latest eLCC.

    After shutting down Norton Antivirus (specifically SONAR protection), it seems be OK so far.

    It's a bit weird that only 64bit VE Pro is getting problem from NAV.
