I was setting up a larger than normal (for me) set of instruments in ViPro, and realized there is no way to send each one to a different midi channel!?? Is this correct? Do I need a seperate instance of ViPro for each midi channel, or can multiple channels be used in ViPro? Its easy enough to send each one to a seperate track in VePro, but still only able to play one at a time depending on which cell or instrument is activated. Thanks for any help here!!! Mike

Midi channels in ViPro?

Hi Mike,
one Vienna Instruments PRO instance listens to ONE MIDI Channel (you can also let it listen to "all" MIDI channels on all ports, but that´s not really helpful).
The basic idea is to have 1 MIDI Channel for 1 instrument or section available (= 1 Vienna Instruments PRO instance).
Best,
Paul

Thats what I thought, thanks Paul. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing anything. There are soooo many new options and 'adventures' in Vi Pro, its going to take a while to digest it all!!! And even the reverb that I didn't care for at 1st is becoming very helpfull. Thanks again!! Mike
