    Has anyone any suggestions for monitoring in 5.1 ?

    What do you think about:

    - Logitech's Z-680 THX Surround Sound Speakers?
    - Creative Inspire 5.1 Digital 5700 Speakers?

    I took part in the installation of a [URL=http://www.dynaudioacoustics.com/Default.asp?Id=534]Dynaudio Air-20[/URL]-based 5.1-system just recently which I like very much, but I think that isn't the the price-range you are looking for.

    M-Audio offer a brand-new, nice-looking, _very_ cheap surround-system, the [URL=http://www.midiman.com/index.php?do=products.main&ID=b57869499ad3dcf48bf242aaa58dca2b]Studiophile LX-4[/URL]. While I didn't hear them yet, I bet that they sound better than any of the Logitech/Creative/etc. "monitors" ;-]

    BTW - we had a monitor-thread in this forum just recently. Most of the models mentioned there would make a nice 5.0-setup at least, and many of the respective manufacturers have a matching subwoofer in their product-range, too.
