    I'd like to try the demo but I'm not sure what happens when I install it - does it replace all of my old VI instances in VE Pro?  Or does it show up as a different instrument?

    I just want to make certain I'm not going to do any permanent damage to my existing template.  Uninstalls don't always work...!

     It doesn't replace anything. You have to actively do something to convert your old templates.,

    You will find the "Convert to Vienna Instruments PRO" in the VE PRO menu very helpful [:)]
