    hey folks, haven't been here for a while - nice to see some new software coming online.

    So, my questions:

    1. This VI PRO - this isn't free for anyone, right? I have a lot of the VI libraries, and wanted to make sure I'm not paying when I don't have to!

    2. Presets: does it come with new factory presets that exploit the new features?

    In particular with (2) I'd be pleased to hear whether there are presets which combine attack transients (i.e. staccatos) mapped to velocity with legatos mapped to Vel-Xfade.

    1. Correct. You have to buy it.
    2. No Presets yet, but you can make your own. I would suggest trying the demo and see whether or not it suits you. Not having to switch Velocity xFade on and off is worth the price of admission, never mind the other great features, IMO.

    hmm, no presets?  I can't see me having to time to create new presets under my current schedule.  I do like programming but I have a pile of deadlines to worry about.

    So, maybe I'll wait until VSL can dazzle us with some amazing new factory presets.
