    I'm having a problem.  I cannot get my two machines to see the elicensers on the other machine.  They both can see their respective keys each computer but cannot see the other machine.  Both are connected to the internet, one has all the licenses on it.  I wanted to transfer some of my licenses to my new mac mini but I cannot do anything.  My main machine is a Mac Pro running the very latest eLicenser (I just downloaded it) and the other is a brand new mac mini running the latest software as well.  Both keys have been registered as well as VE Pro and all my libraries.  I have plugged an unplugged both keys, I have cleaned and updated memory, and even used the Recover function.   What am I doing wrong?

    Fome memory:

    1. Install the eLicencer software on your Internet computer
    2. Run the software
    3. Plug in all dongles that you want to transfer licences from/on, when told to do so
    4. Follow instructions

    As I stated, each machine can see its own dongle but it cannot see the dongle on the other machine.  I know that they are both connected to the same gigabit router but they just are not communicating with each other.  I have done fresh installs of each.  This is a brand new setup - I've never run more than my one Mac Pro so I have never tried to get this to work before.  I thought it would be as easy as plugging in the dongles but unfortunately, not the case.  Could there be some sort of firewall in my router that I have to turn off?

    Hang on a minute. You said you wanted to transfer licences. Is this not the case? if so, they must be plugged into the same Internet computer, as I said. Please clarify what you want to do. You cannot transfer your licences over a network, AFAIK.

    That might just be the answer.  In other words, I need to transfer the licenses on one machine then physically unplug the dongle and move it to the other.  I thought that they would just see each other over the LAN... I'll give that a try.  Thanks!

    Yes. In order to move licences from one dongle to another you must be connected ot the Internet and both dongles must be connected. Then when you have transferred the Licence ton the correct dongle you just plug it into the new computer.
