  • Changing Outputs of Patches in Matrix?

If I combine patches within a matrix (for example  slot A1 is Appassionata Violins Perf-Leg and A2 is Orchestral Strings Violins Perf-Leg) and I want to route them to separate outputs for separate EQ's, is this possible within the VI Pro standalone? Or only within VE or VE Pro?

Haven't been able to find it in standalone (or in manual.)

EDIT: I am aware of different outputs for each matrix but not within the same matrix. Right now I have to create two instances of VI with the same midi channel and key switches and co-ordinate the patches so there's no overlap of patches so I can have separate outs. Perhaps the answer is to use the EQ within VI Pro? Not the same as routing to an EQ in the DAW but perhaps this is the best solution for now.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Dave,

separate EQ´s and Outputs can only be assigned to separate matrices, not separate patches or slots (we had to draw a line somewhere).

  • Okay thanks Paul, I thought I had seen that somewhere when VI Pro was first announced a while back but wasn't sure.

VI Pro is a stunning achievement in any case so I will dive in to the hundreds' of other new features ; )
