    I immediately purchased the VIPro and the Flügelhorn. Since my music computer is not connected to the internet I do the downloads at home on my macBook pro, running OS X 10.6.4 (latest). Here, the download manager program will not open. What can I do?

    Hi Fritz,

    just a wild guess: did you install the latest Vienna Instruments or VI PRO on your MB PRO? The Download Manager needs either VI PRO or the latest VI or VE PRO installed to work on an internet computer.

    Hey Paul,

    I don't use the mac book for music, I have all vienna keys and vi software in my studio. So, does that mean I just have to install VI on the laptop or will I have to get the elicenser from studio to download the files?

    yes, that should work. I will include this information in the Download Manager manual as well...

    That's a great idea, Paul. Just downloading the Flügelhorn. But where is my VIPro download? It's not in the user area (there I can download the manual, which is a start) and I didn't get any email with serial numbers. My purchase must have been successful though, since I already download the Flügelhorn. By the way: why did you call it Fugelhorn? I guess the americans would still be able to read it with "Umlaut", since they invented the name "Häagen Dazs" ... [:D]

    question ... maybe you purchased VI PRO using another account, since i can't see any on the ftitzflotow-account?

     

    if you see the download button for flugelhorn (abd the downloadmanager) you must also see the one for VI PRO

    edit: we noticed an either incomplete or unsuccessful order and double check on that ... will follow up via email

    ps: are you on mac or PC? downloadmanager works here (XP32) without having to install any VI

    and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.

    I am on mac. Since my paypal account didn't show any debt after my purchase yesterday, I did it again: Same thing though: I can download the software now after ordering the trial version, but still didn't get any email and in my user area only the serial of the trial version shows up. Maybe there you have some paypal problem? When I check back on my paypal account and there is still no sign of payment, I'll simply do it with credit card, as I used to ...
