    I've no clue what happend now ??? I have a working network connection between my Mac Pro and my Windows 7 64 BIt PC Slave
    - The Ping works!!!
    - Remote Desktop control of the PC works
    - VE Pro Server is opened on PC
    - Updated The VE Pro Software on both
    -Firewalls turned of on both machines
    When I open the AU Plug-In in Logic or Cubase on my Mac Pro the Plug-In (Server Interface) does only find LOCAL VE-Pro Servers but not the Slave PC?! I don't see what I'm doing wrong. I already had it running before but suddenly after updating to the newest VE Pro Software on both machines and giving the PC a new fix IP 169.254. etc. it just doesn't find it anymore. Is this IP not usable? I feel so helpless =(

    Woooow just before loosing my hope and thinking about saying good by to my slave pc solution I messed arround with some advanced settings. DNS-Server stuff and similar. I don't know which was the solution though but am very reliefed of course. I think there should be a chapter in the vsl manual with a detailed step by step instruction 1) how to configurate Windows 7 / OSX to work propperly as slave vs master 2) how to establish a remote desktop including steps like pinning as test or the diferences between ethernet and cross cables. With such stuff I experiemented many days with almost blind try & error steps until having discovered this. Or even better a tutorial. It'd be cool to have in order to save peoples time.
