  • Cell crossfade slider not responding

I'm new to Vienna so it's probably me but...

with a patch in both cells (LHS of the plugin) I can't get the Cell xf slider to have an effect, whether or not the crossfade button is on or off.  What am I missing?

    Hello TD 23898

    and welcome in the "family"!!!

I don't know what you've done until now.

But you need to assign a controller to this function "Cell-X-Fade"

    How to do it?

    • Open the Vienna Instrument
    • Click on "Perform"
    • Click on "Map Control" (Subfolder of Perform)
    • Select "Slot Crossfader" and assign any controller (below the curve with the white point) > "Wheel" for example or any other Controller.

If you draw a curve within your DAW with the assigned controller the Cell X-fader will follow these values.

On or off you get by clicking on the "crossing symbol" between the cells but you only can do this by the mouse.

It is not possible switch it with a further controller from outside the VI (so far as I know).

VI-Pro is in the pipeline... Hope we will be able to do it with it...

    Hope that helps
