    Hello, I've installed MIR SE & impulses, authorized. When launching the program I get the splash, build version & buildiing audio engine text but then it hangs & I have to close. Here are my specs, can anyone please suggest what I may have incorrect, overlooked or a possible fix?

    Thank you  / (p.s. I cannot download the manual, error 404)

     Hi Carl,

    after starting Mir SE - did you ever get a popup window asking to select soundcard and midi devices?

    In this case there is a file with these settings: C:\ProgramData\VSL\Vienna MIR SE.ini. Please delete it and try to start Mir SE again.

    Carl, I just tried to downlaod the manual myself, and it worked without any issues. Please try it again; make sure that your browser doesn't try to access its cache despite the actual website.

    BTW - we always suggest to use ATI video cards. MIR relies a lot on good OpenGL-implementation, which seems to be a problem sometimes with nVidia cards.

    Florian,

    I never get any notification for choosing souncard or midi, it hangs before that I guess.

    I don't have an .ini file in the MIR folder unless it gets created on start-up or is located on another folder somewhere else.

    If anyone else experiences this HANG error when loading please post here. I'd like to try this before the demo runs out.
