    When I click on "Preferences" in VE Pro, it takes about 10 seconds to open the dialog box.  I am running it as a standlone under Win 7 64 bit.  I've got 24GB of RAM and a fast processor.  Sometimes I get the message "not responding" but this clears up on its own and the Windows Task Manager shows the program as being loaded normally.  Should I adjust the number of threads based on my processor (Intel i7-930)?
